Hershey Kisses Whistle and Spray

These kisses at Hershey Gardens would randomly spray water and whistle. The kids thought this was hysterical to get "rained" on.

Hershey in Pics. Lots of pics.

We arrive and Hazel's not sure what just happened.

On Mark and Molly's front step of their cute townhouse.

It rained a lot when the first few days but at some point there was a break and we headed to the park. This is Hazel's first time in the swing. Video to come soon of her adorable giggle.

My kids dug into the sandbox.

On Friday we went to Hershey Gardens. You can see Hershey Park in the background skyline.

Carter in an arbor at the gardens.

In the butterfly garden house.

Me and Hazel.

Carter found a new buddy with Mark.

These would randomly whistle and spray water.

Rose garden posing.

Running some energy off in the rose garden.

Saturday it quit raining and we hit Hershey Park. They rode three train rides to Carter's heart's content.

Product placement.

Carter even figured out how to make the airplane go up and down. He was fearless to my surprise.

The water park is part of the amusement park. Check out this insane water system. Perfect if you are about 10 years old.

From the ferris wheel.

Train ride #2

Lots of time in the stroller. So glad I took the double.

Face painting.

We thought Carter might fall asleep sitting there.

Kitty cat.

Tiger.

Viking voyage ride for kids. They were laughing so hard and I love that Anna's hands are up.

Dinosaur ride that made what was quite possibly the most annoying noise ever. You pushed a button and got a very dull loud buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. They loved it. Where else can you make the most annoying noise repeatedly and no one complains?

The sweetest place on earth.

I'm pretty sure I lost my driver's license at the Baltimore airport in our hurry to make our flight. Guess that's on my to-do list for Thursday this week.

We had a great time!

Hello from Hershey

I somehow managed two make it through the airport with 2 kids 2 suitcases 2 catseats 2 carryons and the double stroller, rent a car and then drive to see one of my very good friends from college Molly in Hershey pa. She has theist adorable little 10 month old hazel which Anna thinks is her newest baby doll. Hazel's favorite word is HI so there's been a lot of that and Carter uses his very high pitched voice to say "hi Hazel" which is super cute.

It has been raining off and on but we r hoping to get to do Hershey park and the butterfly gardens in the next two days. Kevin has been living on frozen pizza and movies since we left which is funny since he is a great cook. Tonight he put a fried egg on his pizza plus ciracca - that hot sauce that seems to have a cult like following- so I'm starting to get a little concerned.

I haven't taken a single pic yet but plan to change that tomorrow!

Goodnight from the sweetest place on earth.

The first time Anna wrote on her wall

I forgot about this. This is back from May. I was pulling pics of the camera and came across this. Pretty obvious who did it. I think I'm crossed out.

Goodbye 10 Pounds

Running longer distances helped me officially drop 10 pounds. That being said I haven't been able to run for about three or four weeks because of this kidney stone but somehow I've been able to keep it off. So far so good. I dropped a dress/pant size and was able to wear that dress to Jazzoo that hasn't fit in several years. That was my first sign that I had actually lost weight.

I rejoined my running group (although I couldn't go this weekend because of pain and next weekend I will be out of town). I am training for the KC Half Marathon in Oct. I haven't run this race since I was four months pregnant with Anna. I'm excited to have a goal to work towards and keep me motivated.

I'm looking forward to getting back into my morning routine of running outside. I have 3 more pounds to go to my goal weight that I initially started out towards. Still no bikini but I'm making progress.

March: 136
Lost: 10
Current: 126
Goal: 123

Summertime in Pictures

I have been horrible about blogging our summer adventures so far. So here are some pictures I pulled off the camera in preparation for our trip next week.

Carter at Family Fun Night at the daycare.

Anna and another girl at my cousin Megan's wedding shower. Would you believe this girl is younger than Anna. Look how huge she is compared to Anna. This was one of the flower girls.

Carter took his glove. It was so cute

Home from Procedure

I had my second lithotripsy today and so far I consider it a great success. I didn't want to puke my guts out after this one. I will go for an xray in 2 days on Thursday to find out if it worked 100%.

They did this procedure on my back side (last one was on my front hip). I feel like Forest Gump when he got shot in the booty and laid on his stomach and ate ice cream in the hospital.

I am going to have a huge bruise on my ass.

Sunday I had to go to the hospital because the pain was so bad. So I am really looking forward to some good news on Thursday.

8 days till VACA!!

Kidney Stone Update - Take 2

I had my follow up appointment for my kidney stone today. It is still there. I am going to do a second round of lithotripsy early next week. If it works awesome! If not (and I'll know within 48 hours) then I'll have a more invasive procedure to put a stent in for a few days and then have it removed.

I told him I just have to have all of this be over before I go on vacation later this month!! He said no problem :)

Oh and do you have wireless at the hospital and can I go back to work in a few hours? I have a big deadline at the end of the month.

I'm still here and I promise to post some updates and pics from recent activities. Sorry I'm behind! Work is too crazy so blog suffers.
